Job Summary : Assures and / or provides patient care in accordance with the RN job description. With the Director, assumes 24-
hour accountability for the direction and management of patient care within assigned area. In conjuntion with Director manages material, financial and human resources within the assigned unit.
Minimum Requirements : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate degree in nursing required for external hires.
Internal promotion requires RN to be enrolled in BSN program with a graduation date agreed upon by applicant and hiring manager and stated in offer letter upon promotion / transfer.
Minimum three years experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital setting
Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications : Previous management / leadership experience preferred.
Professional certification in clinical practice specialty within 2 years. Active membership in minimum of one professional nursing organization.
Licensure and Certifications : Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure. Current BLS Health Care Provider.
