Maersk is looking for exceptional talent to be our Head of Service Fulfilment within the Ocean Customer Logistics team in Americas.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for the capacity management, contingency operation handling, and the equipment flow planning & execution, through the constant care of the customer journey.

This a role with a flexible location within Americas Region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the Execution Operations activities for all vessel calls, including load, discharge, transshipment process & value-added services fulfilling our Delivery Promise and creating Customer outcome solutions.
  • Drive the standardization and automation of processes to improve our customer solutions.
  • Be responsible for port calls, cargo cut-off & special handling, customer exceptions, and optimization of the Execution process in close coordination with the Ocean Fulfillment team.
  • Handle Vessel & cargo emergencies in coordination with other functions and stakeholders.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness by supporting the creation of differentiated career paths, hiring specialists where relevant, ensuring diversity and enabling our employees’ growth through learning and development.
  • Represent the company as Industry Leader towards Customs authorities and other governmental entities related to container trade.
