Position Overview

This role is critical in providing financial support as part of the I.T. Finance Procure to Pay (PTP) team, responsible for ensuring the efficiency of accounts payables processes, providing financial reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.

Demonstrating a customer first’ attitude, the individual will partner with other functional areas to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial services.

The candidate will need to demonstrate a strong financial skillset in order to analyze complex business transactions and understand their impact on end financial statements.

In partnership with OneSource leadership, the individual will actively participate in identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve the overall service delivery model.

Qualifications

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Creation of status reporting for open invoices (AP) including commentary and action items, with a focus on high priority vendors, performing investigation and providing follow up to ensure timely closure
  • Blocked Invoice report review, investigation, and remediation, acting as a liaison between I.T. Finance stakeholders, PTP teams, and the Buying Center for issue remediation
  • GRIR reconciliation, review, and action aging reporting, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely processing, and greater accuracy of GRIR and AP balances through partnership with RTR teams on month end accrual process
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and recognize potential reasons for delinquency issues
  • Resolve issues causing delinquencies through strategic ongoing cross functional relationships / coordination with all levels of I.
  • T. personnel, Procurement / Buying Center contacts, Strategic Third-Party PTP partner and other departments as needed

  • Partner with various departments across the company to develop a deeper understanding of all transactions that impact I.
  • T. Finance processes and reporting

  • Develop and maintain required reporting, monitoring defined metrics to evaluate process health and provide insights for ongoing process control and sustainability
  • Support Process Transformation, working with various stakeholders to facilitate end to end process review and assessments, identifying opportunities to drive increased harmonization and standardization across departments, and processes
  • Foster environment of integrity, monitoring adherence to applicable SOX and Operational controls
  • Partner with Third Party Provider in the delivery of AP services, providing guidance and assistance for issue resolution
  • Partner with Global and Regional Process Owners, identifying areas of opportunities, and sharing best practices among other functions, in order to continually refine and evolve the service delivery model support structure

  • Additional Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Administration preferred
  • Minimum Years of Experience : 5 years
  • Prior accounts payable experience preferred
  • Working knowledge in SAP
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Contract-type : Full-Time Permanent.
