Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and

within budget. Within this role, you will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor

progress, and keep stakeholders informed.

This role is crucial to ensure Selina’s locations will meet IT high standards.

Responsibilities :

1. Manage the IT workflow of upcoming Selina locations

2. Plan the IT facility

3. Research for local vendors and equipment suppliers

4. Be responsible for the weekly sync between different stakeholders of the project

5. Follow up and manage third party vendors working on site

6. Create SOPs and Guidebooks

7. The position holder may be required to take part in an on-location meeting, planning, or

inspecting

8. Lead routine research for better procurement options and create a network of local vendors in

different locations

9. Get updated for new solutions and technologies in the market

10. The position holder may be required to take part in an out-of-hours system support

11. Maintain an updated client, customer, contractor and supplier management system

12. Monitor expenses and budget in line with the finance and accounts department

13. Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to

increased performance

14. Help with the onboarding process including screen and interviewing candidates

15. Train new hires as necessary and ensure policies and procedures are followed

16. Keep up to date with the current market trends and industry forecasts

17. Coordinates with different departments to achieve optimal work production across the board

Qualifications for Operations Specialist

1. Proven experience in working in business operations or sales operations

2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

3. Good social and presentation skills

4. Excellent oral and written communication skills

5. High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure

6. Able to work effectively with minimal supervision

7. Knowledge of handling general office equipment

8. Proficient in technology especially Microsoft Office applications

9. Physical capability of standing or sitting for long hours each work day

Requirements :

  • Fluent English, Spanish is a plus;
  • Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources;
  • Network devices configuration knowledge : routers, gateways, switches, access points;
  • Office 365 or G-Suite general knowledge;
  • Willing to learn and agility skills;
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and proactive skills;
  • Not required, but preferred :

  • Understanding network infrastructure
  • Linux, Windows, and OSX operating systems general knowledge;
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical course in IT, computer science or related field of study;
  • Project Management Certification
