They provide a range of services, including the management of procurement for specific raw materials, packaging, marketing services, indirect materials, and other services.

The hubs also support markets with managing local spend. In order to shape a successful future for our Procurement model, we are looking for a highly competent Regional Strategic Buyer based in Panama, responsible for managing the commercial and sourcing activity for Digital Agency used by Nestlé to drive the overall digital evolution within the Americas region.

Are you ready to join a multinational team in a challenging role? As a Regional Strategic Buyer Specialist, you will be responsible for the strategic development of the spend category and for implementing the sourcing strategy for the spend in scope. Key responsibilities

  • Define and implement the category strategy, utilizing Strategic Sourcing processes, tools and policies.
  • Perform supplier market / category / supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
  • Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
  • In partnership with Supplier Relationship Management Experts lead the planning and regular contract SLA reviews with suppliers and other functional partners.
  • Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
  • Education and experience

  • Educational background in Procurement, in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Minimum 3 years in sourcing for different spend categories, gained in the overall marketing or specific digital Agency category.
  • Experience gained in FMCG or in digital agencies’ side.
  • Demonstrated successful use of risk management, responsible sourcing and marketing agencies relation management.
  • Experience in negotiation.
  • Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations.
  • Fluency in English, another language will be an asset.
  • Any relevant experience in marketing will be a plus.
