The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Director of Communication LATAM, Canopy Growth is seeking a proven communications professional who can advance corporate communications and public relations activities related to the growth of its operations across Latin America.

Responsibilities Work closely with senior executives, country managers, and business leaders to build and execute strategic communications that meaningfully support Canopy Growth’s business objectives across Latin America Lead the development and execution of the Canopy LATAM’s internal and external communications strategies supporting both global and regional strategic objectives Prime Canopy LATAM’s response to the media in LATAM including regarding issues of high-
importance or significant public interest Coordinate and direct public relations agency support throughout the region ensuring effective execution of company objectives and manage required contracts Ability to establish and maintain strong client relations while balancing multiple, and occasionally conflicting needs Work closely with the business unit heads to advance targeted communications in trade media across Latin America Support the development of educational resources and educational communications as required Experience 5-
7 years of proven experience in a combination of crisis communications, communications planning, public relations, and / or government relations (required) Superior written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (required).
Portuguese considered an asset. Strong ability to develop superior understanding of the needs and tactics of the Latin American business media and press more broadly Previous experience in a rapidly a growing / fast paced industry Experience in a highly regulated industry Ability to lead several projects simultaneously Ability to deliver high-
level, professional work quickly Strategic thinker who can clearly communicate complex issues in a simplified manner to a variety of audiences Strong attention to detail and deadlines Ability to organize / prioritize workload Strong attention to detail Ability to exercise tact and discretion
