Job description : Purpose
Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of operations, process and control of issuing invoices, incoming payments, secure income by verifying and recording receipts, follow up on relevant topics to raise or provide solutions to the administration and customers.
Key Accountabilities and Challenges
Operate within and observe all relevant and applicable laws of Panama.
Maintain HSE standards and ensure strict compliance within the company.
Process invoices and incoming payments in accordance with financial policies and procedures
Propose improvements in the process
Perform daily financial transactions, including the verification, classification, calculation, recording and submission of accounts receivable data
Review discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues
Provide reports that detail the status of accounts receivable, follow up of overdue invoices by contacting customers.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all invoice and payments are posted correctly.
Reviewing, sorting, and filing documents related to accounts receivable will be required as part of the role.
Control, report and reduce operational costs, and ensure cost consideration taken with all decisions.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance or business administration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work in a "team" environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Negotiation skills and customer service oriented
High precision and attention to detail
Demonstrable work experience in account receivable or finance area
Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles
Demonstrable ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Experience handling MS office files, fiscal systems and accounting software (JDE or other ER software)
Fluency in English will be highly regarded
