Central America is a multiple country sub-region that comprises 7 countries. The diversity in terms of culture, local government, diversity of stakeholders is an additional in complexity.
The position has to frequently deal and solve not expected situations within the countries.
Expected to break down complex tasks and drive others to resolve problems
Works closely with Marketing team, RH, Comex, Medical, regulatory, quality and support staff and Sales Managers in countries.
Top and Bottom line P&L delivery
External engagement with key stakeholders, including Government Officials, Distributors and Pharmacy Chains
Identify simplification opportunities and synergies of processes
Lead the growth strategy for Central America markets, guaranteeing the financial objectives, new business identification / capitalization and growth strategies to expand the business according to market.
Must manage and mitigate risks related to political and economic environment; plays a key role on supporting the quality of our products and must guarantee the adequate organizational structure, talent management, culture and capabilities to deliver in full potential.
Manage, influence and develop Central America Regional team to accomplish the commercial sales, and finance objectives.
Basic Qualifications :
We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals :
Broad knowledge of the markets to understand commercial, sales, marketing, finance, legal and tax issues, logistics.
5+ years in high level position within the organization to ensure strong knowledge of GSK Structure and Policies.
Key competencies for this position are : Influence, continuous improvement, think strategically, drive for results, focus on customer needs, foster enthusiasm and teamwork, lead courageously, act with integrity, and use sound judgment, knowledge of the organization and the business.
Strong knowledge / experience of multi-country administration
Previous experience required / Experiencia requerida : 5 years Management experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry and 5 years desirable as General Manager.
Academic degree and area of specialization / Grado académico y área de especialidad : Business Administration, MBA preferable.
