Key Account Manager is responsible for the achievement of the company’s sales and profit goals by developing and executing strategic objectives with geographically assigned Independent distributor partners and their Key Account salons.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving annual distributor business plans and providing regular analysis on assigned distributor partners.
Works closely with National Sales Manager for Independent channel on creating annual business plan, distributor specific promotional plan, salon target lists and co-
managing distributor specific education plan.
Work in conjunction with National Sales Manager in leveraging and managing trade funds to achieve company plans and objectives.
Work closely with Regional Education Manager associated with same distributors to co create complimentary sales and education plan.
Manage current top salon customer base and assist in developing strategies and programs to increase qualitative distribution
Bachelor’s, Degree preferred
Licensed cosmotology license preferred but not necessary
3-5 years, experience in Education within the beauty or personal care industry; hair care category a plus
50% travel between distributor and salon customers.
Proficient use of Word, Excell, Power Point.
Ability to analyze data combine with in market understanding to develop and communicate results, ideas and strategies.
Financial acumen. Ability to understand, process and drive financials of role.
Manage personal travel schedule and T&E budget.
