What the role is
Main Goal is to increase sales and make an opportunity in every contact with the possible customers and guests. Always have a proactive attitude and answer not just solving an issue or giving an answer but giving the extra mile in order to promote all the products that Selina has besides of accommodation.
You are ready to jump in at any time and wear many hats because you value the growth you can have by learning to do it all.
Your responsibilities are (not limited to) :
To processes group reservations by mail, telephone, chat (web / app) or central reservation systems referrals such as CRM
Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout.
Knows the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans. Your supervisor will inform you this.
Communicates reservation information to the front desk if its needed.
Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk if its needed.
Understands the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.
Ask to the Locations Support team or Location staff to processes advance deposits on reservations.
Tracks future room availabilities on the basis of reservations.
Monitors advances deposit requirements.
Makes sure that files you use are kept up to date.
Getting information about areas of interest in order to target more clients in particular seasons.
Making arrangements for clients travel programs.
Tracks future room availability on the basis of reservations.
To be aware of all front office procedures.
Handover to locations all the Group Bookings and follow-up till checkout.
Proactive sales and oriented to sales results
What you need for the role
2 years of experience in managing roles in customer service, experience in Hospitality (hotel reservations, hotel front desk, hotel sales)
Excellent attention to small details
Customer Service skills
Excellent communication skills
English and Spanish advanced
