What the role is
Accounting Analyst will help with the works in collaboration with the Finance Department. This position will report directly to the Head of the department and will help to keep updated the developments and initiatives for the team agenda under its responsibility.
What you will be doing
Post global intercompany entries with HQ entities.
Ensure the fiscal report for HQ entities PA and US.
Responsible for the monthly balance sheet account reconciliation process, identifying gaps and adjusting as appropriate.
Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
Ensure internal controls under his / her processes.
Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing results as needed.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with the company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Provide continuous improvements on existing processes
What you need for the role
3+ years of General Accounting for Corporate entities.
High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred.
Must have strong work ethic.
Must be well organized and a self-starter
Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
Collaborative, adaptable, strong business acumen and attention to detail
Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Word
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable / general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures,
Effective oral and written communication skills with professional level fluency in English and Spanish.
Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Previous experience with Netsuite system or other ERP system.
