Position Overview

This role is accountable for defining and implementing key strategic projects and opportunities related to the Advance Procurement Transformation initiative. The role will help drive innovative, data-driven strategies, by working with the Procurement, Human Resources, and Finance teams to deliver advanced savings initiatives through Fiscal Year 2023.  The incumbent will use data analytics to identify business opportunities, gaps, and determine actions to improve savings productivity. This role will also have the oversight of the operational work currently supported for the GSC Finance organization with a direct team reporting to him/her.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

 

  1. Stakeholder Management with Global Supply Chain Finance leaders, Procurement leaders and HR Leaders

  2. Develop reporting on all Procurement Transformation initiatives including: Investments, Savings efforts, governance of projects and project estimates, while managing the coordination of project stakeholders

  3. Enhanced Procurement Metrics, KPIs, & Analytics, while generate strategic insights and analysis. Partner with OS FP&A Transformative Analytika team to generate value added tools. 

  4. Find synergies, benchmark processes, reports, and activities internally and externally.

  5. Continuously improve delivered capabilities (build efficiencies to current processes)

 

 

 

 

 

Day-to-Day Service Delivery

 Projects’ support and management 50%

Develop next level Procurement Savings KPIs & analytics to be delivered to the business. Assist with Savings Analysis & Financial Signoff on Direct & Indirect projects. Deliver succinct presentations with key overall project messages and takeaways. Develop and maintain detailed project plan, managing project deliverables in line with the plan. Liaison with and updating Program Managers / Senior Management on project progress. Support projects’ evaluation / reporting metrics / KPIs

 

Insight Driven Analysis 20%

Define and identify background and financial data delivered by the team to guide decision-making for Procurement team, and channel via standard reports, standard variance analysis, consolidated reports and data. Expected to prioritize, manage, update, and automate standard reports, as well as support master data enrichment activities, constantly review analytics and reporting, and continually interface with other FP&A team members to look for efficiencies, harmonization, and better insights.

 

Stakeholder Management – 30%

Responsible for organizing, monitor and improve the relationships with our Management Functions stakeholders. This involves systematically identifying key stakeholders; analyzing their needs and expectations; and planning and implementing various tasks to engage with them. Must supervise analyses, commentaries, and presentation materials to be provided to our Stakeholders to ensure the team is connected to their interests and priorities, while remaining relevant and adding value to them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Accounting/Finance/Administration preferred

  • 5 Years of experience

  • Fully bilingual, English and Spanish

  • Brings personalized experiences to enhance delivery

  • Great ability for problem resolution and understanding root cause analysis

  • Strong focus on collaborating effectively with internal customers anticipating their needs and capable to identify business insights through day-to-day reporting.

  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated skill to deliver key messages to leaders while keeping the team informed of all potential escalations

  • Work shift Monday to Friday – Business hours.

  • Contract-type Full-Time Permanent.

  • Location Costa del Este, Panamá.
