You are responsible for

Define :

  • Is responsible for defining a process that represents voice of customer, business, markets, functions, countries, regulators and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensures (jointly with the functional leader) that business & compliance requirements are defined. This should be based on the Business Model & Winning Value Chain requirements to drive process standardization, simplification and adoption / adherence (Philips Excellence Process Framework levels L3 / L4 the what and L5 / L6 the how ) including relevant documents (L7) as well as process performance metrics and adoption / adherence KPI’s.
  • Design :

  • Prioritizes the design of the PEPF processes (including resource allocation) based on the agreed compliance requirements, business requirements and the underpinning IT.
  • Designs the PEPF processes (L3 L7) and ensures alignment with the underpinning IT applications incl. relevant process performance metrics & KPI’s and compliance requirements and controls.
  • Build :

  • Works closely with the IT BAs, Scrum Masters and SME’s to ensure the design is accurately reflected in the IT solutions.
  • Is responsible for establishing, prioritizing and approving the following, including clear business objectives and specific business requirements, compliance, regulatory & interface requirements, high level project planning, changes, enhancements, and defect corrections.
  • Participates in IT solution development projects in the following tasks : providing clear business objectives and specific business requirements, participating in high-level project planning, and providing approvals needed at each Quality gate.
  • Participates as a key player in the software validation process for those PEPFs that include automation of quality system related processes.
  • Develops testing scenarios as part of UAT and validation (as appropriate) to ensure the system (process / tool / training) can be executed by a representative user without needing extraordinary measures to accomplish the task.
  • Deploy :

  • Responsible for change management, business go-live readiness and PEPF readiness adherence in local QMS during the Deploy phase.
  • Maintains BPE, Subject Matter Expert / Key User Communities of Practice (CoP) in their respective domain, ensuring people competencies / capabilities are in place to execute the standard process in their process domain.
  • Supports monitoring of the process during deployment particularly as part of initial pilots to ensure all elements of the design work as expected and incorporate feedback into the process / tool and training design before mass deployment.
  • Process Performance and Ways of Working (WoW) Adoption tracking :

  • Establishes an accurate process performance tracking & WoW Adoption reporting in their capability domain, with reference to relevant targets.
  • Continuous improvement & Knowledge Network / Management :

  • Actively shares knowledge and best practices through Communities of practice (CoP) and helps solving systemic problems driving impact, maintaining BPE and Subject Matter Expert / Key User bi-directional engagement in their respective domain.
  • Secures Process Change Request (CR) engagements and ensures (jointly with the functional leader and the BPO) people competencies / capabilities are in place to execute the latest standard process in their process domain, by driving Process continuous improvement with discipline and in a structured manner (Releases, Kaizen-based, etc).
  • Supports a change control board responsible for the ongoing monitoring and control of the process and IT tool to meet current and new business requirements, manage change requests and interfaces with other systems / processes.
  • Manages changes to the PEPF. This includes, ensuring that tools, training, procedures and work instructions are aligned and remain in a state of control.

    To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • 5 years’ work experience in Business or Supply Chain environment
  • Education related to : Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Development or similar. / Bachelor degree, Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Ideally knowledge of medical device industry
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Proven business experience in his domain (Innovation, product development, operations etc.) in various roles
  • Conceptual thinking and analytics.
  • Ability to design supporting processes for the target vision.
  • Experience in leading process improvement methodologies
