What's The Role?

The Global Reverse Logistics Manager is responsible for delivering expectation-exceeding results by driving inventory management initiatives across the reverse logistics network and implementing the strategy on reverse logistics matters for all the markets within Liberty Latin America Group.

Manage the end-to-end operation of Test Repair and Refurbishment of equipment, mobile reverse and develop business processes for successful operation.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the disposal or liquidation of outdated inventory.
  • Create SOPs for the proper handling of obsolete inventory.
  • Develop and drive test plans for NPI with key partners.
  • Responsible for running successfully reverse logistics operation in scope within LLA region.
  • Execute RFP process with Procurement team for Reverse Logistics partners.
  • Maintain quality throughout the logistics processes.
  • Work collaboratively with partners in supply chain to have an efficient and successful reverse logistics operation in all LLA markets.
  • Responsible to build and manage the relationship with external partners and suppliers.
  • Act as a point of escalation for Local Senior Management on Reverse Logistics matters.
  • Build innovative continuous improvement programs with cross-functional partners to ensure excellent returns and repairs support.
  • Preferred education / qualifications :

  • Bachelor level degree in Logistics, business management or its equivalent.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in supply chain, reverse logistics and post-sales operations.
  • Experience in consumer electronics across all phases of reverse logistics operational management.
  • Knowledge of repair and service operations.
  • 2 years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge & Experience :

  • Requires solid proven experience (5+ years) of performing a management function in Supply Chain.
  • Extensive proven experience in reverse logistics management techniques including planning, resource allocation, prioritization, and escalation.
  • within an international telecom environment.

  • Proven experience engaging effectively with executive and senior-level management.
  • Demonstrate strong commutation and reporting skills in a multi-country / multi-cultural environment.
  • Control & manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with external partners or suppliers.
  • Skills & Abilities :

  • Extensive proven track record showing the ability to successfully manage Logistics activities in multi-country / multi-cultural environments.
  • Manage internal Stakeholder relationships to control cost / budget, improve service and support strategic goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of the transportation industry.
  • Ability to form strong business relationships across all functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast and efficient way with minimum supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and Spanish is a plus.
