The purpose of the Service Part Administration job family is to ensure the availability of requested Service Parts to match Planned Service Events.
This family is analytical and strategic in nature, and works collaboratively with the wider organization to ensure we provide exceptional service to our customers.
Coordinates spare part delivery to the field and returns from the field effectively and liaise with spare part suppliers and work order planners.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Part Administration is coordinating the effective flow of spare parts to fulfill services events on time at our customers;
Ensures that the right spare parts have been ordered and that the required parts are delivered on the requested moment at the right location;
Coordinates the final delivery at customer site and will take action in case spare parts have not been delivered in time, are damaged or wrongly delivered;
Focus will be on an uninterrupted flow of spare parts throughout the service fulfillment process;
Monitors and controls the return of spare parts to the vendor;
Prevents unnecessary stock holding and buildup of stock levels;
Monitors the part flows in the involved software applications and troubleshoots in correct part ordering;
Communicates with vendors & informs the organization on interruptions in the chain which will delay the on time delivery of the requested spare parts;
Inventory & Spare Parts management;
Coordinate outbound in-room deliveries at the customer site from the local warehouse;
Identify and investigate delivery issues, take corrective actions and solve timely by collaborating with suppliers and physical distribution;
Coordinate and escalate via the correct channels Defective on Arrival (DEFOA);
Initiate returns to the supplier and secures the financial settlement of the returned value.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, highly desirable or equivalent experience (preferably a Foundation degree in Logistics);
Comprehensive PC skills e.g. Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office Software applications;
Basic knowledge of SAP (MANDATORY);
English fluency (MANDATORY), excellent mastering of English and the local language both spoken and written;
A minimum of related experience in Customer Service or Supply chain
