About the Role The future of marketing demands that our marketing is purpose driven and personal at scale. Digital and Media for us in marketing are not only strongly connected but play a strong role in delivering personalized and purpose driven connection with our consumers.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all the brands have brilliant media plans with digital programs as a core element.

The role also is responsible for analyzing every line of the investments across the portfolio in order to guarantee that the plans are efficient, scalable and connected in terms of messaging across ATL and BTL.

This analysis is required for 80% of the investment (approx. GBP 24 MM), and it responsible for making a recommendation to the Marketing Director on and the heads of categories where and how to invest the communication resources.

The role will also select and work with all our content creation, digital and media agency partners to ensure we can get the most out of them and that we are doing detailed gh performance measurement.

The Key focus brands are Johnnie Walker, Buchanan’s, Smirnoff vodka, SMICE, Guinness, Old Parr and Tanqueray. Media and digital are deliberately combined in the role to ensure that our strategies and campaigns are coordinated for a multi-channel approach.

Decision Making Define the Communications strategy for the top brands with input from the BM’s, in order to get approval from the MKT Director.

Continue assessment on Digital and Media agencies for CCA Decide on the right thresholds and budget allocation for Communication (ATL and BTL) and Digital across brands in CCA Decide on the usage / allocation and measurement of the central Media and digital budget Runs the content creation Media First approach.

Receives input from our distributor partners to deliver the Digital / media agenda Supervise and makes sure that the influencers plans are in line with the communication strategy of the portfolio.

Financial responsibility : Responsible for delivering the A&P mix for all key brands on total communication. Direct management along of digital and media agency fees.

Direct management of the ATL budget of the brands. Leadership Responsibilities No direct reports to this position, this position needs to work along and influence Brand Managers, Global digital centre of excellence, PR and influencers Manager, CMO team (comms at point of sale), Distributors Marketing teams, Global DMC team, digital managers in Global brand teams and external agencies teams.

Ability to orchestrate remote work teams (internal and external collaborators) This role is the DMC champion in CCA and is the approver of all the content submitted to DCH.

Key outputs : Communications Planning : Get the best out of our Content creation and media agencies and deliver brilliant joined up Comms plans in a multi-channel environment.

Ensures all brand plans across CCA have a strong digital component and investment each year as a part of the game planning process.

Guarantees that every message is taking into consideration the brand position, the occasion, and the media channel specifics.

Defines with the brand teams to ensure that each brand has a search strategy, leading on search engine optimization to ensure that our brands show up through paid and earned search Search destination management : Partner with GDBS to ensure effective management of our two main search destinations Thebar.

com and all the brand websites Partnership Management : Building relationships with media and digital organizations across the full range of media channels.

Partnering with procurement to get the most out of our agencies and finding the best partners Technology experimentation : Partnering with the US and Europe and digital centre of excellence to identify new technological ways to connect with consumers and also make our internal marketing process easier Data and analytics : Using data to evaluate the performance of media and digital.

Developing insights in the best way to use interconnected channels. Drive insights into what content works to guide the brand management team on higher engagements on social media Leads capability building on digital and media across all business unit marketing teams to build local functional authorities Runs the digital compliance agenda and raises issues as they arise specially on social media.

Qualifications and Experience Required : Bachelor degree in Media required Experience in Consumer Marketing (Min 10 years) Minimum 5 years’ experience of building brands through social media required Experience of leading multiple partner teams across geographies required Understanding of SEO and SEM preferred Direct experience in Media Planning / Agreement Latin America preferred Media agency or digital agency experience preferred Bilingual Proficiency (English & Spanish) required Available to travel 20% of the time Flexible working options Role can be based in Panama or Costa Rica Diversity statement Celebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo’s purpose of celebrating life every day everywhere .
