In this position, you will be supervising a team of Service Engineers and Service Technicians working in Motion Service division in Panama.

You will help to execute the Service strategy and boost growth by focusing on delivering timely, high-quality, and cost-effective service offerings, solutions, and projects.

You will drive excellence through effective planning and allocation of resources in accordance with processes, procedures, and guidelines.

Service Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Assign and monitor project work based on scope, delivery time, competencies, and workload utilize resources effectively through proper planning and scheduling by service engineers.
  • Build sustainable relationships with clients and use feedback to drive consistent development of processes and practices.
  • Exceed customer expectations by understanding and anticipating current and potential needs.
  • Implement Health, Safety and Environment directives and ensure instructions and regulations are communicated within the team, while progress and results are monitored and reported.
  • Work with others to drive service productivity improvement activities, streamlining Service processes and applications to help customers.
  • Point of contact with clients, keeps clients informed of project status.
  • Review competency levels to ensure that people are adequately qualified to handle the jobs assigned to them and that tools are in optimal condition and calibrated for these services.
  • Follow-up from start to finish of the services, from the Kick Off Meeting to the presentation of the final report to the clients.
  • Your background

  • Bachelor s Degree in Electromechanical, Electrical Engineering or related careers.
  • 5 years of work experience performing functions related to the position.
  • Sound knowledge of Project coordination and field services.
  • Knowledge of SAP (desirable), Salesforce (desirable), Management of ServIS, incoterms, Project Management, Career Line Design (Development of Field Service Engineers).
  • Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Availability to travel.
  • English at intermediate level.
