Position Summary

We are currently looking for a highly competent Procurement Controller to be based in our hub in Panama. Reporting to the Hub Co-Pilot, you will form an integral part of the controlling function at Nestrade.

Located in hubs in Switzerland, Panama and Malaysia, our division provides a range of services, including the management of procurement for specific raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and other services.

A day in the life of a Procurement Controller

  • Measuring, calculating & benchmarking price performance via internal and external focused analyses across the spend categories and markets for Zone Americas.
  • Identifying price trends and ensuring consistency across the markets and categories via the use of analytical tools and dashboards for this purpose.
  • Coordinating and leading the planning process; including organizing discussions with the markets for price forecasting, savings projects, and P&L & Balance sheet impact.
  • Contributing to the provision of accurate and relevant reporting and analysis to support the Nestrade Management Committee in tracking and managing operational performance and facilitating the execution of the strategy of their units.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Procurement Category Controllers, Market Procurement Controllers, the Hub Copilot, and directly with the Procurement team.
  • What will make you successful

  • University / Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance & Control
  • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications - in particular Power BI, advanced Excel & PowerPoint, data bases management
  • Fluency in the English language is essential (other languages are a plus)
  • Knowledge of SAP (in particular the FI and CO modules)
