Commercial Department Outlines and understands the needs of our retail operators and franchisees to successfully commercialize recognized global brands within the travel retail channel of the Americas through internal and external contact points.
Responsibilities · Developing the trade marketing plans and lead the execution of the Trade Marketing plans for the market including the development of activation plans for clients.
Selecting and negotiating with the best points of sale and their best spaces for each of our applicable brands. · Bring field intelligence to define brand-specific activity plan with marketing and commercial departments · Boosting and accelerating consumption and sales, by improving product rotation at points of sale through push & pull actions (promotions and activations at POS).
Identifying opportunities and developing timely action plans for points of sale, based on the resources necessary to implement them.
Monitoring activities at the points of sale by gauging return on investment (ROI) through KPI's reports and sales results.
Participate in brand coordinated training programs, conveying their branding objectives to points of sale and develop branding and merchandising initiatives.
Ensure that experiences at the points of sale are consistent with the format and positioning of the brands. · Periodic follow-ups and suggestions regarding improvement of product layouts / positioning.
Management of the supply chain and satisfactory fulfillment of orders for displays and furniture, in terms of planning, manufacturing, storage and distribution, with the ultimate goal of delivering on time and providing the expected quality of service.
Travel will be required for face-to-face meetings and to attend trade fairs or other related events. Minimum of 25% of travel annually.
Work experience and education requirements Duty Free / Travel Retail 3 years experience with established relationship within the industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field. · Experience in dealing with omnichannel strategies · 3+ years of proven experience as a trade marketing coordinator or similar.
