In this role, you will be responsible for operational leading the newly set-up for Latin America's Shared Services Center -
GBS hub. Main services to be delivered from Panama will be Finance and Supply Chain Management.
You are responsible for
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean techniques to achieve strategic objectives cost savings, efficient operational performance levels.
Accountable for the SLA attainment for function in the hub & the KPI attainment for the function in the hub
Establish strong relationships with regional leaders through regular meetings and foster open dialogue between service leadership and internal customers with regards to service delivery and future innovation.
Provide direction to a fast-growing team (300 Full Time Employees) to be built up over the next 3 years through Lift & Shifts’ and external hires
Responsible for the growth and development of colleagues, ensuring consistency in role application and career path progression for team members.
Oversee the development and application of high-quality learning opportunities for team members and coach and develop team member skills to collaborate in a high-
performance manner, and act as a role model for leadership roles.
Support initiatives to attract and retain the best possible talent.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Considerable success and demonstrated experience in Supply Chain Management or Finance (12+ years)
Experience in an outsourcing / vendor management services is a must.
Experience with managing under Service Level Agreement (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and performance metrics and monitoring for in scope activities.
Strong leadership skills to lead and manage globally cross-culturally diverse teams in a global context
Strong influencing and negotiation skills, strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Proven track record in change management, and managing continuous improvement (LEAN, Six Sigma) and business transformation programs.
Good business acumen with the ability to synthesize creative solutions and ability to deliver results.
Bilingual (English - Spanish)
Main challenge :
Build mind set of KPI management and LEAN Leadership by systematically enabling continuous improvement (lead by example, benchmarking, employee contribution programs)
Focus maintained on Customer as the priority, accountable for delivering the SLA’s and keeping the KPI’s at the highest standard.
