Alfa Laval Panamá is looking for an exceptional Accountant. The accountant is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Accounts related to Balance Sheet and P&L, according to GAAP and IFRS.
Strong knowledge in SEM and Ley 42, and Local Tax.
Processing and checking financial data in the ledgers (Ledger accounts and cost centers)
Processing account movements in the ledger
Checking reconciliation with sub- ledgers
Processing incoming invoices
Preparing the bank payments
Processing employee expense reports
Reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis
Preparing information for the purposes of reporting to the parent organization
Performing any other duties related to Business support department
Checking the Accounting of fixes and current assets
Attend Local Tax requirements (Panama)
Treasury (check the cash and Banking records)
Preparing reports for the company (MISAL Reports)
Maintenance of DW system to report each month
Carrying out various financial administration duties
Performing other duties related to Business support department
Control and follow up Q nova System
Update Company car file in Car fleet policy
Profile, Experience and Competencies
Bachelor s degree in Accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum 2 years of experience in areas related to the financial management of accounts, international account management, local taxes, dealing with clients
Knowledge in NIFs, audits, Payroll management experience
Experience in Local Tax and Panamenian accounting regulations according to Panamenian law
Experience with ERP system, experience with iScala, a plus
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of IFRS and IAS
Intermediate / Advanced English language proficiency
Strong integrity and sense of responsibility.
