This work includes a lot of contact research and management, media research and monitoring, copywriting, and creative thinking.
We are seeking a PR Project Manager / Experienced VA who can assist on the back-end of our campaigns with admin duties for campaign and contact organization, media / contact research, campaign preparation and organization, and content writing support.
The ideal candidate would be a highly-organized individual who understands the goals of our campaigns and is able to shadow ongoing work to keep everything organized.
We would like someone who is keen on systems and procedures and is able to build out workflows that keep competing priorities and multiple campaign tasks organized and up to date.
Experience with PR, content marketing, sales BDR work, SEO backlink outreach, or cold outreach campaigns and a familiarity with CRM softwares such as HubSpot would be an asset for the role.
The right candidate must be able to handle various admin duties, perform media and contact research, balance competing priorities and establish standard procedures for maintaining a high level of organization.
The Role : Primary
Manage and organize contact information in a CRM
Manage and update a pipeline of open media opportunities
Research contacts and find contact information
Research media articles and prepare targets for outreach campaigns
Monitor multiple sources for press opportunities that are aligned with campaign objectives
Shadow client correspondence and update CRM information accordingly
Shadow journalist and editorial correspondence and update CRM information accordingly
Summarize and circulate bi-weekly call notes, tasks and next steps.
Manage and organize monthly / quarterly client reporting
Content writing and social media content creation as required
Establish and maintain standard procedures for organizing campaign information and materials
Help manage open client workflow such as setting tasks and reminders for open action items
Maintain and organize all PR resources (Google Docs, Hypefactors, etc.)
Additional admin duties as required
Help manage organization of all campaign information and materials
Support campaign preparation and execution with media and contact research
Create and review notes for all media opportunities in CRM
Establish and maintain standard organization practices across all campaign materials and information
Ongoing file and data management
Track and report analytics as instructed to support monthly or quarterly client reporting
Extensive media and contact research as needed
An understanding of PR, content marketing, and media outreach is required
A strong eye for detail and and an ability to work independently
Quick learning and an ability to take initiative based on critical thinking that supports campaign objectives
Great organizational skills and ability to learn new administrative software as needed
Must have outstanding research skills and some experience in finding contact information online
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Copywriting experience is preferred
3 years of experience required (in-between junior and senior)
Experience handling certain platforms (Hubspot, Slack, Google Drive, etc.)
The required hours per month is 80 hours to start (20 per week)
