To manages the strong relationship with local stakeholders and provides them the procurement expertise, using thorough understanding of Commodity Strategies, local market knowledge and supplier innovation, and there by supports business in order to bring them the most efficient and cost effective solution.

You are responsible for

  • Evaluates Procurement trends and market developments and aligns supply based strategy with needs of business connected to LATAM makets + countries strategy relevant to customer needs.
  • Optimize productivity and profitability by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage reporting and results of complex assignment toward business leadership.
  • Actively support with supply market & process knowledge and expertise in the area of Indirect Material & Services.
  • Manage and execute all strategic procurement activities for the assigned supply base. Supporting regular performance reviews with different leadership teams to reflect changing business needs and requirements.
  • Leading the negotiations and the process with suppliers where local solutions are required ensuring lowest total cost of ownership to contribute to the profitability objectives for projects in the market.
  • Being an integrated business partner by fully understanding the business requirements and provide the best solution to the demand side.
  • Needs to be agile and quick learner of new technologies or best practices in your respective fields and focuses on continuous improvement (lean).

  • Responsible for identification and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives in the local market through the development of internal and external intelligence such as best industry practices, supplier capabilities and capacities, emerging trends and technologies, and regulatory issues.
  • Drive business value by impacting quality, time to market, supplier innovation and cost efficiency.
  • To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineer or Finance. MBA or post-graduation is desirable.

    Strong experience in Procurement, preferably within the Indirect Material Spend categories such as Marketing, Media, Digital and Events.

    Relevant experience in Multinationals companies.

    Experience driving improvements in (TCO) Total Cost of Ownership and insure impact on bottom line.

    Experience in contract negotiations, manage reporting and results of complex assignment toward business leadership

    Bilingual in English & Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.

    Analytical, conceptual thinker, pragmatic, strong interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, with focus on getting things done.

    Globally and able to work effectively across cultures.

    Strong communication skills.

    Your team :

    Based in Panama City, will act as a Market Procurement Manager for Philip’s Personal Health. This position will report to the Market Procurement Leader LATAM.
