About the role Purpose Working and enrolling the technical, procurement, quality, planning, customer service and finance areas, the role is responsible for ensuring our goods are produced and delivered to clients across CCA fulfilling COGS, Service, quality and reputational objectives.

Accountable to embed the Diageo TPO Excellence Program in those TPO’s and drive continuous improvement. Responsible to provide on-site support for issue resolution of both site and incoming material supply Responsible to act as a relationship owner between Diageo and the TPO.

Responsible to facilitate the introduction of Brand Change & Innovation projects in the TPO’s and Diageo’s operations through the SLA.

Accountable to own the processes and projects to implement new TPO’s and / or expand capacity and capabilities in current ones Responsible to lead the sourcing projects to identify the correct manufacturing site.

Responsible of designing and creating the manufacturing strategy for Innovation to develop the most gross margin possible for Diageo with the least investment and resources needed to develop them.

Market Context CCA is a very dynamic market with many opportunities. Our geographical footprint covers 37 countries, where different languages are spoken and we have a population of 80m, 52m of whom are LDA+.

Our model is a distributor based RTC with 57 partners. We also operate with six distributor Free Trade Zones and with two operators in the border between Mexico and the US.

We also lead several co-packing partnerships throughout the region, and Panama is home to our innovation technology center and principal warehousing operations.

The Scotch category accounts for 70% of Total NSV, predominantly playing in the Premium and Super Premium segments; Diageo share of market in Scotch varies from 45% to 75% across the region making us the number one player.

Decision Making Medium level of autonomous decision-making regarding systems, business processes and supplier relationships to support leading levels of business performance and in line with regional supply chain strategy.

Empowered to make recommendations and take decisions according to the applicable SoA throughout all the co-packers in CCA and according to the existing processes Ie Sourcing Role will make recommendations on resource management in the TPO area : prioritisation, and capabilities Empowered to make recommendations on the Risk Management & Reputation area Daily decisions required to resolve operation issues with TPO, incoming materials, quality, and innovation / brand change.

High degree of integrity, business code of conduct required in all decisions. Financial Responsibility Accountable for the cost and productivity performance of the Co-Packers in CCA that delivers 33M usd of Nsv and $12M usd of profit to Diageo while ensuring product availability of the products produced in those TPO’s.

Ensure that all the project under his / her responsibility in the TPO area are implemented within the assigned budgets. Accountable to build the case for sourcing decisions with the help of Procurement, Decision Support and Technical.

Leadership Responsibility Reports to the Head of Supply Chain, CCA CCA Key Stakeholders : GM and CCA Exec Global Supply Key Stakeholders : Brand Technical Centres, Procurement Teams, GDBS shared service centre and customer service, LAC Sourcing Committee.

CCA Supply : CCA Customer Collaboration and Planning team, BC&I, Procurement External key Stakeholders : Senior Management and Technical teams at co-packers.

Responsible to secure the appropriate Risk Management Agenda at the TPO following Diageo GRMS and securing the deployment of technical and risk resources as needed.

Key Outputs Facilitate the delivery of the CCA Innovation and Brand Change on-time, on-budget , when relevant for TPO’s Implement Diageo TPO and Manufacturing excellence standards in the TPO’s Sourcing analysis and decisions for new projects weighing cost, complexity, speed.

Drive TPO performance management (cost, quality, H&S, Risk Management, controls-compliance-ethics) Deliver Efficiency goals and continue to build and deliver a pipeline of projects.

No Reputational exposure occurs across the TPO’s sites of CCA and standards are embedded. Establish Service level agreements with TPOs to ensure expectations are clearly detailed.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with senior management at the TPO. Ensure CARM / GAR and policy compliance in TPO’s.

Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or similar is required. Spanish and English language required A solid experience in similar role (at manager level) and / or in technical and / or operational roles, preferably in the beverage / alcohol business or CPG companies.

Experience on running successfully product introduction and innovation processes from a supply side in complex and global CPG companies would be a plus High potential in leadership and employee project management skills Experience in a highly regulated environment is a plus Good financial and budgeting understanding Computer literate : MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.

Excellent data management. Demonstrated experience in successfully leading / participating in process improvement / systems projects is a plus Proven track record of performance improvement in previous roles Functional Capabilities Understanding of the Diageo Manufacturing Excellence Program : Quality, HSE, Risk Management, Controls-Compliance-Ethics (or similar in another Global and advanced CPG company) Understand finance (P&l s, value chains) and how cogs affect the profitability of brands.

Understanding of overall supply chain practice in Diageo and / or a CPG company : Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Customer Service, cost structures and value chains.

Expertise in Co-Packing management and / or production operations Expertise on the Diageo Brand Change & Innovation Process (or similar in another Global and advanced CPG company) is a plus Understand and may apply Root Cause Analysis & Problem-solving Techniques Capable of driving continuous improvement through performance management.

Understand Global trade, product classification, FTA s, External auditor, Project management, LEAN, Green belt certification is a plus Key Leadership Capabilities High Degree of Business Ethics & Values Empathy and able to build effective working relationships, with peers and with different functions.
