The Sales Engineer will be the technical liaison and key advisor working closely with the team’s Sales Managers and Operations to ensure customer requirements are met during the pre-sales phase.
Pre-sales activity includes but is not limited to, support in contract bids and ICT business-related activities. The Sales Engineer is also recognized as the product advocate, assisting in streamlining support processes of ICT products and Services.
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Education Needed : · Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications or similar field · MBA a plus · Minimum 5 years of related experience in a telecommunications, internet or other high technology company · Working knowledge of technologies that support CPE, Managed Services, Video Conferencing, Cloud Computing, LAN, IPT and other applications · Enterprise and service provider network experience in Voice Collaboration, VoIP, UCCE, LAN, UCS, VMware, and Data Center networks is adorable · Hands on experience with installing and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications, Unity and IPCC / UCCX · Hands on experience with creating and maintaining IPCC / UCCX scripts · Strong understanding of TCP / IP and ability to install and troubleshoot LANs and WANs · Experience designing network solutions given client requirements and goals · CCVP, CCDP certification desired and CCIE certification preferred · Ability to manage and coordinate projects · Effective presentation and negotiating skills · Professional verbal and written communication skills within all corporate levels · Experience with responding to emails and RFP’s · Ability to work within small teams as needed based on the sales opportunity Bilingual : Chinese and English is mandatory Flexible to contribute to activities and schedules that are geographically dispersed varying in time zones, languages and cultural backgrounds
