You are responsible for

  • Responsible to act as single point of contact for GBS Partners requesting project management as a Service including the requests for Partner Dedicated Project Manager (PDPM) services
  • Initiate and execute new Partner on-boarding according to the processes and ensure close communication with the Partner to build long term relationships
  • Responsible to review, validate and track all the requests received for PM services
  • Work with Talent Acquisition team to ensure right resources are acquired for the PM services
  • Responsible to work with Philips PM Practice team during the recruitment of the project managers to validate the vacancy description and seek interview support wherever required
  • Responsible to manage PM resource allocation tracker and ensure maximum utilization of the project management resources
  • Identify, document and manage the risks / issues in providing the project management services to Partners
  • Report on regular basis the status of requests and on the status of allocated PM’s to our Partners and work on resolving any conflicts
  • Ensure application of project management methodology, best practices and standards in projects delivered by GBS project managers
  • Work with GBS PM Functional Services Leader on competency development, training and career opportunities for the GBS project managers
  • Plan and execute different governance meetings with Partners at different leadership levels as defined in the process framework
  • Liaison with Philips PM Practice on GBS project managers competency development, certification and also on project management processes / standards applicable for Partner projects
  • Support GBS PM Functional Services Leader on AOP planning on offering project management services, forecast resource utilization and initiate required actions to ensure utilization
  • Ability to market project management services across different organizational units in Philips, build a strong pipeline and ensure realization of the more requests for GBS
  • Has the entrepreneurial skills to develop the project management services from GBS as a key offering
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach;
  • resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent
  • Has >
  • 7 years of working experience in managing a group of project managers

  • Be proficient in structuring complex tasks and coordination of complex processes
  • Good influencing and relationship building skills
  • Change management skills
  • Good process and data analytical skills
  • Being able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a pressurized environment and work proactively
  • Knowledge of PMBOK standard (preferred)
  • Experience in Lean tools (preferred)Excellent command of English (both verbal and written)
