As the new FP&A Analyst Industry Operations within our Philips Center of Excellence (CoE) Operations (OPS) group, we offer you a great opportunity to be at the core of driving performance management of key FP&A industry operations processes and to own harmonization and improvement projects within the industry operations domain.

You are responsible for

  • Manage, lead and improve financial performance planning processes (Rolling Forecast, Annual Operating Plan, and Strategic Review) for Sleep and Respiratory Care (S&RC) global manufacturing sites, of which the total conversion cost of the organization is more than EUR 104 million;
  • including process accountability and setting guidelines.

  • Drive and track productivity improvement opportunities for all S&RC manufacturing sites; of which total sales revenue equals EUR 1.3 billion.
  • Actively link and partner with Businesses as well as Operations Head of Finance, by providing meaningful analysis on factory operational results, to understand root-causes for performance gaps.
  • Drive quality, timeliness, and accuracy of core planning, reporting and analysis
  • Identify the gaps in the forecasting and closing processes across all manufacturing sites, initiating and leading process improvements.
  • Be part of the implementation of the Philips Finance transformation to a best-in-class Finance function by ensuring a seamless transition of local industrial analysis into CoE.
  • Positively influence factory stakeholders to go through finance transformation journey by demonstrating solutions-based thinking.

    The Philips FP&A COE Operations team is a strong international and dynamic team of approximately 25 people globally with diverse backgrounds and a strong focus on speed, discipline, and execution.

    Operations FP&A team is part of the Philips worldwide FP&A organization enabling a collaborative cross sector engagement, support and knowledge sharing.

    It is a global team spread across various locations.

    To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • MBA / CMA or equal qualification (RC / RA).
  • LEAN capabilities.
  • Strong working experience with progressive roles in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, FP&A functional management
  • Proven depth of end-to-end business knowledge, financial analytics and strategic insight
  • Strong political acumen, with an ability to recognize organizational and business differences and to drive towards alignment
  • Proven ability to marry financial constructs with business knowledge and to partner with general and functional teams
  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data and translate this into concrete actions
  • Model Philips Leadership competencies and Finance ways of working
  • A change agent, who initiates, coaches and directs Finance staff teams and stakeholders through change you are adept at implementations of change through effective communication and leadership techniques
  • Ability to set priorities and cope with tight deadlines
  • Able to adapt to time zone differences (as stakeholders are located in the Asia / Europe / US)
  • Relevant experience in an industrial / factory environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI and QlikView / Qlik Sense.
  • Fluent in English
