What’s the role :

Management of the plan, design, and build of technical elements for new product developments for external customers by converting external customer needs into solutions. (Product Development)

To turn the LLA entertainment roadmap into real, launched, products, providing LLA’s opcos with world-class services in terms of customer experience, cost, and opportunity with special focus on the IPTV product, User Exprience and design of Graphic User Interfaces.

Knowledge & Experience

  • BS in business administration, engineering, product design or similar university degree.
  • 5+ years of laboral experince or demonstrable previous experience of video product development.
  • 3+ years of experience in management of complex, multiyear or Hi-Tech projects.
  • 1+ years of proven experience engaging effectively with and presenting to executive and senior level management.
  • Proven product design and development capability in video services at a strong technical level.
  • Proven UX or GUI design capabilities.
  • Ability to mitigate risk and manage uncertainty.
  • Market product deployment and launch.
  • Budget tracking, forecast and management.
  • Ability to work with technical and business counterparts.
  • Executive communication and presentations.
  • Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice.
  • Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided.
  • English / Spanish written and verbal communication skills.

    What you’ll do :

  • Receive and managing requirements related to IP STB products.
  • Lead the definition of entertainment products functional specification, user experience, service levels and device design.
  • Receive and managing requirements related to graphic user interfaces.
  • Receive and managing requirements related to voice interaction.
  • Receive and managing requirements related to Devices Industrial Design.
  • Lead the design of entertainment UX & GUI functional specification, user experience, service levels and device design.
  • Work with all regional, local and external stakeholders to fully productize solution.
  • Ensure launch process and Business readiness with key areas inside every local operation, including Product Offer, Content, Marketing, CRM configuration, Customer Experience, Finance, Sales, Billing, Revenue Assurance, Engineering, Support, Reporting, IT, Procurement, Call Center, Field Ops, Regulation, Legal, Advanced Analytics, etc.
  • Coordinate the technical implementation activities of the product, and the procurement processes that are needed for new products development.
  • Ensure product meets requirements criteria of all local and LLA stakeholders, as well as quality standards.
  • Manage CAPEX and OPEX for the project, spend and forecasting, coordinating with internal / external task owners in coordination with E&C Budget Management area.
  • Implement process and train respective teams to drive the product.
