The Technical Writer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized technical documents for the organization.
Gather information about needs, objectives, functions, features, and requirements. Perform writing tasks for technical reports, documents, such as user manuals, installation manuals, help documents, and tutorials.
uses business process maps to develop procedures, models, and operational processesDevelop and maintain program marketing materials and informational content for internal customersMeet with leaders and team members to review current processes and procedures and develop thorough documentation of processes performedCoordinate with different stakeholders to understand and identify gaps between original business process and documented processFacilitate the change management processes to ensure documentation remains current and effective and is the first level support for document maintenance tasksReport on the status of document maintenance tasks as well as administration of internal SharePoint sites to include access managementBe the official scribe of meeting minutes for governance committees and other meetings as neededResponsible for continuous improvement of standard operating procedure manuals to make them more robust, efficient with less room for confusion, redundancy, and errorsContinuously work to drive improvement in the logical process workflows, document structure, formatting, and grammatical formParticipate in information security projects as requested to document internal controls and other relevant technical documentation as requiredPerform other related duties as assignedTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
