A key element of this strategy was the design of a new way to support its suite of 30 brands globally. The company chose Panama as being best suited to establish its new Global Business Services (GBS) operation center.

This new center will initially deliver Finance, Human Resources and Legal services to ELC employees across several geographies and time zones.

Through a new innovative service minded approach, this center will redefine service standards globally at ELC. This new GBS team will provide a one-stop-shop solution for the ELC businesses, supported by new customer engagement insights, new systems, and new reporting.

In addition to delivering exceptional service to the ELC businesses each day, the GBS team will also be responsible for continuously streamlining work in pursuit of growing its service offering in support of achieving ELC’s strategic and business objectives.

Position Overview

This role is critical in providing financial support for the North American Procure to Pay (PTP) team, responsible for the execution of accounts payables processes, financial reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.

Demonstrating a customer first’ attitude, the individual will partner with other functional areas to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial services.

This includes the oversight of a Third Party Provider in the completion of deliverables supporting several North American Departments.

The candidate will need to demonstrate a strong financial skillset in order to analyze complex business transactions and understand their impact on end financial statements.

In partnership with PTP leadership, the individual will actively participate in identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve the overall service delivery model.

  • Day to Day Service Delivery

  • Oversee Third Party Provider in the carrying out of PTP process management strategies for North American departments
  • Provide Third Party Provider with guidance and assistance for day to day invoice processing and reporting activities
  • Execution of complex financial processes in areas including but not limited to Vendor Account Analysis, Working Capital and Process Efficiency Metric Reporting, Month End Reconciliations, and Invoice Receipt to Payment Processes
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and evaluate potential financial risks and mitigate with relevant stakeholders
  • Foster environment of integrity, monitoring adherence to applicable SOX and Operational controls
  • Participate in projects around process redesign, new brand integrations, and system implementations
  • Engage in and suggest continuous process improvement ideas

  • Additional Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Administration preferred
  • Minimum Years of Experience : 4 years
  • Working knowledge in SAP
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Contract-type : Full-Time Permanent.
