Rate 100% Type of contact : Permanent contract Position Summary We are currently looking for a highly competent Regional Procurement Manager based in Panama, responsible for managing the commercial and sourcing activity for the Paper-based Packaging used by Nestlé worldwide.
Reporting directly to the Category Manager, you will be responsible to define and implement the category strategy on a regional level (Zone Americas) utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

A day in the life of a Regional Procurement Manager / Paper-based Packaging Develop, validate, communicate and orchestrate in a fast and consistent way the specific Corrugated, Micro Flute and Solid Board related Projects.
Contribute to, and implement the sourcing strategies for the Category in scope whilst interacting with relevant Business Partners and Stakeholders.
Manage a complex and fast paced category with thousands of items. Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy and record them in system.
Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
Promote and ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, Policies and Standards. Perform supplier market / category / supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
Contribute to the Sustainability Commitment of the Group. What will make you successful University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain and / or Engineering.
Over a sustained period (+5 years) has demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for different Packaging categories.
Ability to successfully lead projects and implement change in multicultural environment at different levels of organization.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills - with the ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across a complex organization.
Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations. Fluent in English. Spanish and / or Portuguese would be a huge asset.
