Director of Marketing and Communications Gulf Coast State College
Develops and implements a comprehensive marketing plan for the College; Manages and designs marketing, recruiting and promotional materials in support of academic and administrative services divisions, including but not limited to : gather information and materials, illustrate concepts by designing layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts with the College’s brand guidelines for a variety of media (TV slides, newspapers, magazines, brochures, postcards, posters, web, advertisements, etc.
Works with campus constituencies and academic programs to develop marketing materials for their specific area; Prepares and writes press releases, PSAs, articles, TV and radio scripts, speeches, graphics, etc.
Participates in committees and project teams as appropriate; Manages time and tasks to be completed prior to or by deadlines established.
photograph students, faculty, staff and events; some video production and editing is preferred
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college.
Have a firm working knowledge of graphic design software and programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college. with emphasis in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or related field.
