We are currently looking for a highly competent Global Sustainable Sourcing Lead, responsible for leading the Nestle Group activities on Responsible Sourcing of Pulp and Paper and be the center of expertise on climate smart agriculture, with a focus on forest.
Reporting to the Global Head of Sustainable Sourcing, you will be responsible for :
The implementation and constant upgrade of the Nestle Pulp and Paper responsible sourcing strategy worldwide,
Supporting the 1.5 Climate Pledge roadmap by :
Providing expertise on climate smart agriculture practices,
Deploying climate reduction strategies focusing on conservation, reforestation and agroforestry, cross commodities with a worldwide scope,
Procurement at Nestlé :

A day in the life of a Global Sustainable Sourcing Leader / paper and climate smart agriculture
Lead internal stakeholders in the creation and operationalization of the responsible sourcing and climate change strategies.
Deploy Nestle group wide operational capabilities to deliver on strategy and Nestle corporate commitments.
Pilot the responsible sourcing operations in countries of origin and measure the progress towards long term goals.
Manage and coach virtual taskforce team members for smooth execution of operations in country of origins.
Lead investment in projects with NGOs to implement climate and responsible sourcing objectives.
Team up with and develop long term capabilities of key suppliers on traceability and carbon management.
Advise Businesses in external communication to consumers, customers, media and NGOs.
Develop regional organizational capabilities and shadow operations (internal / external) on the ground.
Lead escalation and issue management in the region together with allocated resources.
What will make you successful
Under graduate degree in agriculture, agronomy, or forestry management, post graduate degree in geo, earth, environmental Sciences or Sustainability.
Track record in responsible sourcing, reduction of emissions, low carbon agriculture and nature based solutions in commodity production.
Experience in creating sustainable sourcing or carbon management strategies for corporates.
Experience in one of the leading advisory firm related to carbon management.
Outstanding stakeholder management and engagement skills.
Ability to operate in dynamic and uncertain environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
Fluency in English, any other language is a plus
