What's The Role?
The Data & Analytics Manager will be responsible for the development of Liberty’s marketing analytics strategy, defining globally agreed analytics standards, and provision deep and actionable insights from marketing performance to inform optimization and strategic decision making.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, this individual (they / she / him) will be responsible for the journey towards providing a 360 view of our customers, providing the business with data-led insights and owning the roadmap for the development of our marketing analytics strategy.
What You ll Do
Collaborate with the dedicated marketing channel leads on all things data & insight.
Own our Customer Data Platform and define the strategy for personalization, upsell and crosssell opportunities and customer insights.
Prioritise and own the roadmap of Marketing Analytics, being the go-to person for planning, challenging the value of, and the delivery of analysis projects.
Translate business questions into requirements for data analytics, ensuring the needed tracking is defined and in our analytics tools.
Define and analyze consumer patterns, trends, and metrics to identify new opportunities for growth. This would include ecommerce performance, media opportunity analysis, etc.
Define needs for dashboards (strategic level) and build and facilitate the use of standard reports and self-service in the global marketing team and the local marketing teams along with training, sparring and support (tactical and operational level).
Carry out ad hoc analyses on specific topics both in agreement with marketing and business leads and on your own initiative.
Turn raw data into meaningful marketing and business insights.
Utilise customer and e-commerce data to identify the direction our propositions should take and how we optimise our cross-selling opportunities.
Develop consumer insights from historical trends and existing data, share and interpret those findings with senior leadership.
Preferred education / qualifications
BS / BA degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or similar
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Specific Knowledge & Experience
4+ years in marketing analytics or performance marketing with experience in PPC and or Social a plus.
Confident utilising SQL to manipulate and process large data sets to enable concise reporting and analysis. Preferably with knowledge of SPSS, Python and R.
Subject matter expert in audience and marketing data (familiar with customer and transactional data, marketing channels, purchase funnels, comms performance).
Ability to present and communicate detailed analysis to non-technical stakeholders, knowing how to convince different audiences.
Passion for visualising data in a meaningful and actionable way, pioneering new techniques.
Excellent working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Ads / Adwords, Facebook platform, PowerBI, NGDATA and Google Data Studio.

Strong project management / organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously for different teams targeting different audiences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, English and Spanish, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations.

Demonstrable ability to empower and motivate individuals at all levels of the organization.
