What the role is

Lead Regional HR operations and ensure the HR department operates efficiently and in compliance with Global procedures.

What you will be doing

  • Recruiting :
  • Support Hiring Managers and requisitions through JobviteCoordinate Internal Transfers / Promotions Follow-up open requisitions

  • Hiring :
  • Assure the info of the new hire is shared with the correct people (payroll, HRIS, etc.)Follow up signed contracts

  • Training :
  • Ensure Employees Onboarding

  • Comp&Ben :
  • Corporate and Location Bonus processEmployee Benefits Review

  • Performance :
  • Probation Period Evaluation PIP

  • HRIS :
  • Ensure all employee master data is up-to-date and recorded in corresponding systems.

  • Terminations :
  • Ensure all terminations are appropriately documented and supported according to the official HR templates and guides

  • Legal :
  • Follow up Labor CasesEnsure implementation of the Global Mandatory Policies Provide support and follow up to foreign employees with foreign working visas.

    Interns : Ensure compliance with Internship guidelines

  • Location / Hotels :
  • New Locations (Hotels) HR Operation Set-Up

  • Execute locally HR Global initiatives :
  • Business Partner strategies (i.e. : Payroll Cost, HC Budget, Turnover, Location Revenue, BEI, etc.). It could vary Country by Country.

    Recruiting strategies Talent Management initiativesCulture & Engagement initiatives

  • Provides immediate fixes to acute emergencies, keeping interested parties informed, i.e. :
  • Sexual harassment, strikes, labor inspection, vandalism, physical aggression, earthquake, fires

    What you need for the role

  • Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or equivalent studies in HR and / or administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a mid-level HR management position.
  • Experience in the hospitality / tourism industry (preferred).
  • Knowledge of local labour laws
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Empathy
  • Knowledge of main Human Resources processes (onboarding, offboarding)
  • Ability to navigate among diverse tasks
  • Leadership
  • Knowledge of local culture and practices
  • Ability to manage time and responsibilities
  • Customer Service
  • Knowledge of file management

  • Knowledge of HR systems
  • Focus on solutions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of English (written and oral)
