Provides leadership and coordination of sales and marketing strategies, planning and operation implementation, in addition to financial and back-office responsibilities.
The ideal candidate should have the following experience and characteristics : 5+ years of experience in management, developing markets and negotiating with different clients at regional level, preferably in the luxury and / or beauty industry.
Strong and proven negotiation skills. At least a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Marketing, or any other related field.
Also, demonstrable skills in organization, communication, teamwork, prioritization of tasks, people management, and MS Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities : Commercial Ensure net sales and wholesales are in line with expectation Verify client orders, sales rotation and stock levels Present alternatives sales strategies to reach sales goal in case of unexpected trend occurs Commercial conditions negotiation with all clients (margin, rebates, returns, among others) Allocation and prime space negotiation for the brand Review and approve all Advertising, Promotions and Demonstration (APD) expenses, including those invested locally Obtain pre-pack order on new products and campaigns from distributors / clients and large retailers Sell-out follow up Approve and / or close points of sales to fit image requirements Financial Responsible for P&L (including profitability) by client for the designated area as per overall objectives / strategy of the Brand Accountable for customer contribution targets of assigned area Sales & APD forecasts Allocate adequate PLV material to obtain visible promotion and successful sales, while respecting budgetary guidelines and constraints Marketing / Media / Training Responsible for the implementation of the Marketing Plan within the area through close collaboration with respective Departments Build up and implement media plan Coordinate media and production schedules with the respective department Build up sales promotional plan as agreed with retailers, Distributor and VP Monitor Make-Up Artist visits, training and other promotional events as needed Provide training assistance whenever necessary Work closely with Merchandising Team to ensure on time installation of counters and other promotional areas Leadership Manage and motivate a back-office team (Sales Executives) as well as the field team (Brand Managers, BA’s, Supervisors, among others).
Recruit, evaluate and promote sales personnel, including assistant and merchandisers, in conjunction with VP Supervise Sales Executives / Assistants to ensure orders are processed and shipped on-time Responsible for the recruiting and hiring of Brand Managers and local sales personnel in conjunction with distributor / client Responsible for trip reports, follow-up reports and POS project
