The Project Manager will be accountable to deliver on business outcome for our internal Philips Partners (Business, Market, Function) through projects.

The Project Manager is responsible for establishing and leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional strategic initiatives.

Project Manager will lead a variety of different types of projects including transformation projects, strategic projects, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.

You are responsible for

  • Provides a consultative role to projects and or programs by supplying templates, best practices, training, access to information and lessons learnt from other projects
  • Ensure application of project management methodology, best practices and standards in projects
  • Monitors the competing constraints of scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources and risk
  • Provides project / program management with regular performance status, variances to plan and identification of areas for corrective actions
  • Coordinating communication across projects
  • Monitors compliance to project management standards, policies, procedures and templates
  • Lead and manage changes to scope, cost and time through integrated change control process
  • Perform consolidated risk reporting to the program leadership and escalate risks which require management attention
  • Facilitation of project web site, special meetings, war room, PM software support
  • Facilitate capturing lessons learned and initiate any project specific improvement actions
  • Establishing resource management model & tracking utilization, programs make better decisions for project prioritization
  • Responsible to create overall program communication standards for projects to follow
  • Assist the program manager in developing necessary communications to program stakeholders
  • Track program and project cost spend and create forecast reports to manage cost
  • Validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
  • Fosters excellent cross functional communications and integrates the work of multiple stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Ability to navigate in a highly matrixed organization effectively
  • Solid interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Exercises judgment and influence on key process decisions within an area

    Our Global Business Services (GBS) team. In line with Philips vital transformation strategy to become excellent in operational execution, reduce complexity and increase efficiencies, GBS acts as the in-house competence center for Business Services with E2E service lines across functions to accelerate continuously improved performance to better support our customers.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent
  • Advanced English Skills (Written and Spoken)
  • Has >
  • 2 years of relevant working experience, including experience in PMO

  • Be proficient in structuring complex tasks and coordination of processes
  • Good influencing and relationship building skills
  • Change management skills
  • Good data analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Being able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a pressurized environment and work proactively
  • Knowledge of PMBOK standard (preferred)
