The role is based in our regional office in Panama City, Panama. You will be the HRBP for the TT cluster supporting a handful of countries and you will be a part of regional tasks and countries as well.
You will become part of the Svitzer Americas HR team tasked with supporting the overall strategy of Svitzer, with a focus in Americas.

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and managers in designated countries and will provide full spectrum of HR services, driving and managing global HR programs and annual events.
The main tasks will be :
Provide high quality and efficient HR Partner services to the leaders, including but not limited to recruitment, annual performance management, compensation & benefits, talent development and engagement survey processes.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Provide advice in organizational change initiatives, including leadership and governance, roles and structure, business processes, measures and incentives, people and competencies, and culture.
Work closely with leaders to analyze, anticipate and outline present and future organizational capabilities.
Serve as a consultant to management on people-related issues, build strong relationships and trust with leaders and colleagues.
Implement HR practices on talent management, leadership development and talent acquisition to close gaps on organization capabilities and sustain a sufficient talent pipeline to achieve business goals.
Align policies and procedures between HQ and local offices ensuring the company is in compliance with proper legislation and in accordance with Commit rules and Our Values.
Ensure the execution and delivery of HR operational activities in an effective and efficient manner.
Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Further we expect that you have :
University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area.
More than 5 years of experience in HR in a global organization as Business Partner or HR Manager.
Solid understanding of HR fundamentals recruitment, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee and industrial relations.
Proficient in MS Office application.
Fluent written and spoken English. Advanced written and spoken Spanish and Portuguese preferred.
Strong abilities to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders' interests.
High energy with strong desire to achieve and proven capabilities of multi-tasking and working under pressure and deadlines.
Good coaching and facilitation skills.
Capable to be an inspiring partner for the organization, visible driving force on company values.
Self-motivated and detail oriented personality.
Good verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels in the organization and with external and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work in a global business environment and in a matrix organization.
Ideally with good understanding of labor market and practices across the region.
A high level of cultural awareness, enabling effective communication across a diverse and large geographic area.
Flexibility to frequent travel for short periods of time, as well as vessels if required.
