IBM's Expert Labs Learning organization is seeking a technical content professional with instructional design experience and expertise building technical education offerings, and who is passionate about technology and skills development to join our team.
The technical content professional will build education offerings working with Subject Matter Experts and influence the instructional design for all our training offerings.
You will work with a team of technical course developers and help drive curriculum structure, using course design principles and applying your talent for instructional design, writing, content development, and strong communication skills in a project team environment.
You will join an innovative and productive team responsible for the assessment, design, development, and evaluation of educational materials for teaching Data and AI and Automation concepts, skills, and workflows.

Preferred locations : Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX or New York City Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWork with technical curriculum developers to apply solid instructional design skills, effective learning principles, and creativity to enhance course design Work with curriculum leads to develop plans, timelines, and success metrics Collaborate with team members to identify, contribute, and recommend new ideas or methods for enhancing our curriculum Work with subject matter experts to quickly assess, design, develop, and maintain instructor-led, web-based, and workbook training materials that are educational and effective Help develop learning assessments and provide ongoing feedback and recommendations Evaluate and enhance the overall content design of existing curriculum Stay up-to-date and expand knowledge on instructional design and learning industry trends and related technology Analyze content, target audience, job tasks, and learner environment to identify appropriate instructional strategies and define learning objectives Develop, revise, and validate technical instructor-led and web-based courses, including instructional text, technical reference information, learning activities, software exercises, presentations, etc.
