Preferred location - Greater New York City / New Jersey / Philadelphia / Boston areas

Job description

Core Areas of Responsibility :

  • Develop an overarching sales pipeline and implement / manage the strategy for our Nth East and Mid-West regions for retail, food service and manufacturing channels
  • Manage book of current customers, establish strong relationships, provide world class service and defend market share
  • Establish and grow our brand presence in the retail channel
  • Identify prospects and call on new customers to share the Pilot™ and Pasture Perfect™ brand story, and sell-in our product line
  • Recommend new opportunities, profit and service improvements
  • Collect, analyze and report on market and competitor information and data.
  • Maintain contact information and progress on all accounts in CRM
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and sales objectives, including, but not limited to holding key meetings and closing new points of distribution.

    General Requirements :

  • MUST have 5+ years of sales experience in the protein category, within retail grocery and food service channels.
  • MUST have a successful track record of leveraging wholesale distributor and broker network(s) to sell Protein (Beef and Lamb) into retail stores and end user restaurant accounts
  • Ability to proactively ideate, develop and lead all aspects of sales in your respective region, partnering with Marketing and other key internal stakeholders
  • Must be located in the Nth East / Mid Atlantic region and must be familiar / experienced with East Coast distributors and accounts.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks
