DESCRIPTION Regional Sales Manager East Coast
Preferred location - Greater New York City / New Jersey / Philadelphia / Boston areas
Core Areas of Responsibility :
Develop an overarching sales pipeline and implement / manage the strategy for our Nth East and Mid-West regions for retail, food service and manufacturing channels
Manage book of current customers, establish strong relationships, provide world class service and defend market share
Establish and grow our brand presence in the retail channel
Identify prospects and call on new customers to share the Pilot™ and Pasture Perfect™ brand story, and sell-in our product line
Recommend new opportunities, profit and service improvements
Collect, analyze and report on market and competitor information and data.
Maintain contact information and progress on all accounts in CRM
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and sales objectives, including, but not limited to holding key meetings and closing new points of distribution.
Maintain strong, positive consumer, business and trade media relations

General Requirements :
MUST have 5+ years of sales experience in the protein category, within retail grocery and food service channels.
MUST have a successful track record of leveraging wholesale distributor and broker network(s) to sell Protein (Beef and Lamb) into retail stores and end user restaurant accounts
Ability to proactively ideate, develop and lead all aspects of sales in your respective region, partnering with Marketing and other key internal stakeholders
Must be located in the Nth East / Mid Atlantic region and must be familiar / experienced with East Coast distributors and accounts.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple tasks
