SUMMARY The Enterprise Trading Platform Model (ETPM) moves Ingersoll Rand to a Hub and Spoke model globally where legal entities (spokes) have one trading partner (its regional hub) and only the hubs engage in cross-

    regional trade. ETPM standardizes key business processes, and governs relationships between hubs, from plant / source to hub, and from hub to customers.

    As part of the design phase, the Panama Hub Leader has overall responsibility for setting the region-specific trading platform strategy, partnering closely with SBUs and functions to ensure the recommended trading model will work effectively and efficiently within the Global ETPM framework to capture the benefits, deliver value and meet customer needs.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ETPM Deployment

  • Responsible for recommending the most efficient trading model in the region within the framework of Enterprise Trading Platform Model (ETPM)
  • Partner closely with regional SBU leaders and key functional leaders (RTR, Tax ) to ensure ongoing support and buy-in
  • Represent the regional trading operations and hub with the Enterprise Trading Platform Steering Committee
  • Maintain close relationships with other region hub / trading operations leaders to ensure alignment on governance and sharing and leveraging of best practices
  • Operations

  • Ensuring significant economic benefits identified are being optimized within the business operational possibilities
  • Monitoring and optimizing cost of operating the hub
  • Ensuring integrity of the model including the support of key strategic regional initiatives impacting order flows in the region.
  • Support the design and deployment of the back office operational model for the Latin America Region
  • Site leadership, Single Point of Contact for Hub-related issues and Legal Entity representation (i.e with local authorities)
  • EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree required in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or Legal.
  • Prefer advanced business degree (MBA)
  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, business development, sales, marketing and / or operations management.
  • Experience with ERP implementation
  • Understand business operations end to end
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Solid understanding of Finance / Legal and Tax areas and logistics
  • Understanding of the full value stream including the full suite of process flows (e.g. Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Record to Report)
  • Business process implementation knowledge. Previous experience with ERP implementation preferred
  • Balance between short-term business requirements and longer-term benefits of ETPM
  • Good understanding of operational excellence and lean methodology
  • Strong change leadership and change management skills
