Responsibilities : (including but not limited to) The primary function of a Spanish teacher at the International School of Panama is to facilitate the student learning process and create productive environments in which students can develop skills they might need at present or in the future.
He or she provides classroom learning opportunities for students and assists in other school programs, working harmoniously with the administrative staff and parents in support of the ISP Teaching Philosophy, school policy, regulations, objectives, and goals.
The language of instruction for this position is Spanish, while the language of communication in the school is English. ELEMENTARY at ISP : Our primary mission is to meet the unique educational, emotional, and social needs of each and every student.

Our whole-child approach includes challenging social studies, science, and math programs. Students stay fit and healthy in our physical education classes, they produce art, music, and drama in our specialist classes, and they get hands-on access to technology through integrated units of study.
Students are also exposed to daily Spanish classes differentiated by fluency. In addition to these special enrichment classes, our students are engaged in the social-emotional realm as they have set aside weekly classroom visits and lessons from their grade level counselor.
