The Privacy Analyst supports the Global Privacy Office and will report to the Chief Privacy Officer and the Vice President, Legal Shared Services.
The Privacy Analyst’s primary responsibility will be to manage responses to data subject requests and inquiries. The Privacy Analyst will also assist with the creation and maintenance of up-to-date personal data, asset and vendor inventories, and otherwise support the day-to-day operations of the Global Privacy Office.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide specialized support to the Global Privacy Office, including :
Act as the first point of contact globally for data subject requests
Ensure data subject requests are addressed in a timely manner in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies
Review and redact (as required) documentation in response to data subject requests
Triage and monitor the privacy request queue and assign tasks to relevant internal stakeholders
Create, maintain and implement policies, procedures, playbooks and workflows related to data subject requests
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Serve as key contact between Global Privacy Office and internal business stakeholders for the completion of data subject requests
Draft reports and provide metrics on data subject requests
Otherwise support the Global Privacy Office with activities related to the Company’s privacy compliance program by : Creating and managing documentation related to vendors that process personal information Assisting with the completion of privacy assessments Creating and maintaining personal data and asset inventories Supporting the implementation of privacy technology tools Developing training and awareness materials Handling ad-hoc projects which support the Chief Privacy Officer and other Global Privacy Office members
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Position based in Panama City.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal, compliance, or similar role, preferably at a law firm and / or multinational company
Experience working in a shared services team or environment
IAPP certification an asset but not required
Knowledge of global privacy principles
Strong project management and client management skills
Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills, including in person, on the phone and via email
Exercises good judgment in decision making, able to understand and synthesize complex issues, and support the execution of business strategy
Ability developing and implementing consistent procedures in a service environment
Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage expectations effectively to complete multiple tasks / projects quickly, efficiently and on time

Advanced technological skills and ability to learn and teach others new technologies quickly and independently
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Skype, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint
