Quest Software is seeking an experienced Sr. Business Analyst to support our internal business teams to execute on a number of mission critical projects.

The successful candidate will be able to take point on business discussions with our internal business teams during the implementation process.
You will establish and maintain a relationship with Quest business teams, retaining a deep understanding of their business.
You will deliver solutions that speak directly to their most critical business needs.
Business analysis and discovery
Participate in process, strategy, and functional design on Quest projects
Drive business process definition and design together with SFDC project team and business team members
Engage with senior business stakeholders to gather / analyze requirements, and write user stories that are easy for our business partners to understand and respond to
Map user stories and requirements to Salesforce functionality
Demonstrate Salesforce capabilities to solve business problems by managing proof of concepts / pilots
Integration design (jointly with SFDC Architect)
Maintain collaborative relationships with external vendors to achieve project goals
Data migration planning
Planning for system test and UAT
Assisting with end-user training and other change management needs
Establish and maintain relationships with Quest business owners
Participate in conversations with business owners regarding ongoing enhancements
Remain current with the periodic Salesforce releases
Identify and mitigate risks
Critical thinker spots gaps; challenges assumptions; pushes back against incomplete or poor ideas; offers best-practice alternatives
Ability to speak the language of the business and be perceived as their voice in project discussions
Adhere to a configuration before code mindset to minimize cost and complexity while maximizing the maintainability of Quest’s SFDC instance
Ability to translate the needs and requirements of business owners into user stories via focused interviews and workshops
Minimum 3 years of experience functioning as a Salesforce business analyst or consultant
Detailed knowledge of Salesforce architecture
Strong ability to configure Salesforce
Salesforce certifications : Administrator and either Sales Cloud or Service Cloud
Experience working in an Agile or modified-Agile environment
Understanding of data and data migration methodologies
Knowledge of the software business and associated processes
Understanding of Jira, and knowledge of Copado or Prodly
