The Distribution Team shares leadership with Global Sales and the Colive Team. Our main task is to manage online distribution channels, in order to sell hotel inventory to various agents across the globe.
We look after both open and upcoming Selina locations, being 90+ properties and counting. For this, we work in alignment with Global and Local Sales, Global Revenue Management, Support and Reservations Team.
Our main task is to follow the process that allows the properties to share and keep their rates and availability constantly updated into accounts with market prospects, which can connect through a Channel Manager.
Your daily tasks as a Distribution Account Manager are :
Serve as the main point of contact between Selina and the account
Communicate with Revenue Management about possible campaigns to activate in distressed markets
Keep track and understanding of the account’s performance, risks and opportunities. Understand both the commercial and the technical side of each account
Organize monthly calls with the account manager, as well as quarterly business reviews to understand where does the account stands in terms of the global or property level business mix and what can be done in order to improve results
Keep an eye and follow up on key administrative tasks that are relevant to the account being live and selling, such as pending invoices and properties at risk of suspension
Identifying industry trends to optimize our performance
Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate process need fulfillment.
Maintaining parity control by constantly coordinating with Revenue Management and the Global Sales Team on our rates and promotions.
Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior.
Create SOPs and give both global and local support when an issue arises with the account.
Account Manager Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in sales, communications, or related field.
2+ years of experience may be preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Ability to collect, track, and analyze data to establish clear action plans whenever necessary.
Excellent active listening skills.
Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
