As a Country Holding Officer Panama, Colombia & Ecuador, you will ensure that all local cross-business-specific and fiduciary requirements are duly met.

Your responsibilities
Establishes and maintains a local governance in line with legal requirements.
Fulfills fiduciary duties on behalf of the local legal entities and the respective Businesses / Business Lines.
Acts as the authorized signatory for compliance to local regulations and statutory requirements. Ensures and actively supports the introduction and maintenance of all applicable requirements of the ABB-OS / ABB Way as well as corporate measures, affecting countries.
Responsible for compliance with all applicable local fiduciary finance requirements overseeing compliance with local statutory GAAP, local reporting, internal controls, legal and tax requirements, with support provided by GBS.
Supports Corporate as required in developing financial and tax strategies as well as integrations at country level.
Maintains relations with external auditors and communicates their local findings and recommendations to the appropriate organization for remediation (i.
e. Business, GBS or Corporate).
Responsible for corporate governance and all fiduciary matters connected with all legal entities in the country including holding shareholders and board meetings and maintenance of corporate books and records.
Driving adherence to Corporate Regulations / Policies.
General fiduciary oversight in connection with branches (in other countries) of legal entities in the country.
Ensures implementation of all HR rules, standards, governance and control processes in the Country according to the applicable local regulation.
Ensures strong labor relationships with all local unions / works councils.
Represents ABB in interactions internally to coordinate crisis management teams and explain country specific regulations to take into account;
and externally to communicate and reinforce ABB people aspirations in the Country.
Ensures collaboration between businesses is effectively executed where appropriate in order to be consistent with ABB-OS single point of contact’ value proposition.
Represents ABB locally, or organizes representation by another local leader / expert (focusing on external representation, including for e.
g. representation in associations, government relations) and actively manages partnerships and external stakeholders, when of significant importance for several local businesses.
Your background
Bachelor s degree in Finance or similar.
Track record as a successful Change Leader.
At least 10 years at CFO level or similar role in Country Management team.
Country specific reporting standards and legal entity governance experience.
Experience as a company spokesperson.
Knowledge of SAP.
Experience as a crisis coordinator would be an advantage.
