This position is a combination of An Agricultural Engineer and an Agronomist

An agricultural engineer applies techniques of mathematics and design to agricultural systems while an agronomist applies greater knowledge of biology, soil science, plant science, meteorology and genetics to those same systems.

Experience in farming with technology- Aeroponics, Hydroponics, Atmosponics- the non-traditional way to cultivate / farm

Experience in experiments, research, academic knowhow, investigations Ie : testing in a lab, in a R&D department, in their previous position, etc

This testing is related to growing a controlled environment, what works, what does not work.

This person will join the Agronomy team- Research and Development Centre

Have the ability and knowledge on how to grow plants (the agricultural engineer part) AND also to identify problems and resolve them (the agronomist part)

This role is going to be checking farming with CEA (Controlled Environment Agriculture) systems, where all other variables are controlled (soil, water, temp, light, nutrients, etc) and then changing the parameters, experimenting, documenting the methodology, and reporting on what works, what does not work, etc
