What's the role :

The Senior Specialist will develop a digital communications strategy that utilizes our social media channels and the company’s website to deliver clear and consistent messaging to stakeholders.

The individual will be required to design a strategy that will support Liberty Latin America's (LLA) goals to proactively manage the company’s corporate reputation and brand, reinforce the company’s culture, and support growth.

As part of this digital strategy, the individual will drive our employer brand efforts from a communications standpoint, helping to build the company’s profile as an employer of choice.

What you'll do :

Digital and Social Media Strategy and Management :

  • Leverage a multi-faceted set of digital and social channels that will capture the attention of our stakeholders and build greater awareness and excitement for our company
  • Create an editorial calendar of regular digital and social communications, in collaboration with the communications team, to present the LLA brand and culture in a compelling and consistent manner
  • Consolidate and centralize the management of LLA’s corporate global social media channels and provide content direction for locally managed platforms
  • Manage organic content needs in partnership with the communications team
  • Develop creative content to be used on social media channels and align our local market efforts to company-wide moments
  • Work with Director, Communications to maintain the consistency of LLA’s established brand voice
  • Build LLA’s profile as an employer of choice by bringing to life our employee philosophy through digital communications channels to support our talent acquisition efforts
  • Support LLA’s global campaigns from a digital and social media perspective (i.e. International Women’s Day)
  • Manage the planning, organization, creation, and publishing of all content on LLA’s company website

    Provide support to LLA’s Communications Team :

  • Collaborate with the Communications and People team on communications support
  • Coordinate change management and transformation communication programs
  • Monitor and measure the impact of social media communications efforts :

  • Create global KPI’s and streamline reporting systems to measure success of communications efforts across digital channelsthrough statistics and analytics
  • Propose solutions for increasing the effectiveness of programs based on measurement findings
  • Manage budgets appropriately :

  • Ensure activities are delivered within budget and that suppliers and third-party contractors provide the best service at competitive prices
  • Knowledge and Experience :

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • Must be able to plan, execute, and optimize a social media strategy
  • Must have experience managing a corporate website
  • Must be able to work with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve a common goal
  • Experience with multinational companies, preferably in Latin America and The Caribbean
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across the company at all levels
  • Comfortable working in a regional matrix structure through collaboration and relationship management
  • Mastery of written and oral communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Passion for and deep understanding of all things digital, especially social media platforms, website development, and mobile experience
  • Ability to conduct data analysis for social media measurement and analytics
  • Language skills in both English and Spanish highly valued
