What's The Role?

Responsible for the delivery of the day-to-day activities relating to the Global Background Investigation process specifically as it pertains to the handling of Background Investigation Reports with discrepancies.

Point person for the Background Screen provider and will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling the invoicing provided by the vendor.

The BISO will generate reports from the ATS system and transfer information to local systems.

What You ll Do

  • Works in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, maintains high organizational oversight to ensure task completion, and maintain compliance standards in each area of operation as they pertain to background screenings, investigations, and their impact on employment.
  • Acts as key liaison between Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and local onboarding representatives to ensure accurate data transferal to local onboarding systems.
  • Works with Candidates and Talent Acquisition to ensure all processes required for background investigations are completely appropriately.
  • Monitors Talent Acquisition Platform (TAP) dashboard and evaluates details of results.
  • Actions status reports related to background processes.
  • Authority to change the status immediately of the Background Check to completion.
  • Requests additional updates from candidate through the HireRight Portal.
  • Collaborates with Talent Acquisition (TA) to initiate the new hire onboarding process in iCIMS.
  • Collaborates with the adjudication panel with case escalations, in managing of risk mitigation in team practices, and preparation and presentation of case materials to the adjudication panel, as needed.
  • Manages the background check with the discrepancy process from start to resolution.
  • Reviews documents provided and completes section 2 of I-9 Verification Process and EVerify (where applicable US and Puerto Rico markets).
  • Knowledge And Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a HR Service Center / Customer Service role.
  • Experience with the protection of confidential or sensitive materials and data.
  • Experience with background screenings.
  • General knowledge of : Telecommunication products, processes and market technology and commercial challenges.
  • Impact (and relative importance) of IT in telecoms today and in the future.
  • Strong skills in MS-Office products (Competent in Word & Excel).
  • Proficient in written & oral English & Spanish Language.
