What's The Role?

Reporting to the Director, Digital Platform and managing Dev Ops for the Digital Platform and Apps in LLA this N+5 role is at the heart of our Digital Delivery and Operations process.

The Dev Ops Specialist will lead DevOps efforts for the Team and set up manage and maintain build and deployment systems for Platform Development and Platform Operations.

Familiar with Dev Ops practices and methodologies and tools Digital Commerce and Care portals and capabilities and building Digital Customer Interaction Platforms.

Owns the build system, monitoring approaches and dev and operational environments, working closely with partners ensures that these are efficient, optimized and helps to drive internal transformation and acceptance of agile methods and ways of working.

What You ll Do

Work with Architects and Developers to support development and deployment activities.

Drives, Designs and manages the operational and hosting infrastructure for the Digital Platform and Apps.

Manages and supports the deployment of Apps to different stores.

Manages and helps gather operational data to support the business.

Supports release management processes acts as a bridge between Agile’ and Waterfall’ release management.

Supports and instruments build, deployment and post release processes.

Builds, updates and fixes DevOps workflows.

Extends and enhances the Build System’ to improve the efficiencies and performance.

Works to automate and simplify the processes to ensure more reliability and resilience.

Factors in Security and compliance activities in to the Design, Develop, Deploy, Operate cycles.

Supports and helps operations team with urgent operational issues.

May work across multiple Squads or across multiple lines of business.

Works with other departments and organization to align processes and approaches.

Knowledge And Experience

Graduate level (Bachelors or higher) degree in Information Technology or related field. Significant technical centric job experience (5+ years) can count in place of technical degree.

Experience of working with modern Dev Ops tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Jira CI / CD. Git Hub).

Experience of working with Node.JS and Angular Applications and development environments.

Experience of working with automation frameworks for deployment, testing and security (Appium, Cypress and others).

Agile Qualifications preferred.

AWS certification preferred.
